1. What Khayrun is

Khayrun is a Fajr wake-up and community app operated by Sayid Bilal in the Netherlands. It gives you an alarm scheduled from calculated prayer times, a prayer check-in, streaks and leaderboards, and a small dawn-only community feed.

Two honest limits, up front:

• Khayrun is not a religious authority. Prayer times are astronomical calculations based on your location and chosen method. They are estimates. Where certainty matters, follow your local mosque or community.
• Khayrun is an aid, not a guarantee. Alarms depend on your device, its settings, and its battery policies. Do not rely on Khayrun as your only means of waking for anything critical.

2. Your account

• You must be 16 or older.
• Use one account per person, with accurate information.
• You are responsible for what happens through your account. Sign-in is by email code or Google, so keep that email yours and secure.
• You can delete your account at any time in the app through Settings → Delete account. See the Privacy Policy for what deletion covers.

3. The community

Posting to the feed is earned by showing up at Fajr and bounded to one post per dawn during your Fajr-to-sunrise window. By posting, you confirm the content is yours and you keep ownership of it. You grant us only the license needed to store it and show it to other users inside the app.

Not allowed, and removed when found or reported:

• Content that is hateful, harassing, sexual, violent, or illegal;
• Photos of identifiable people who have not agreed to appear;
• Spam, advertising, or impersonation;
• Attempts to game streaks, points, or leaderboards, or to abuse the report system.

Moderation is real. Posts can be screened automatically, hidden on report, and removed by us. You can report any post and block any user. Repeated or serious violations end the account. There are no comments on posts by design; likes only.

4. Streaks, points, and leaderboards

Streaks, points, badges, and rankings are motivational numbers inside the app. They have no monetary value, cannot be transferred or redeemed, and their rules may be tuned as the app evolves. We announce changes that matter.

5. The service

Khayrun is provided "as is". We work to keep it accurate and available, but do not warrant uninterrupted service. As explained in section 1, we are not liable for a missed alarm, a missed prayer, or decisions made on calculated times. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to what you paid us to use Khayrun, which is currently nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, or your mandatory rights as an EU consumer.

6. Changes and ending

• We may update the app and these terms. Material changes are announced in the app before they take effect.
• You can stop using Khayrun and delete your account at any time.
• We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Law and contact

These terms are governed by Dutch law. EU consumers keep the protections of their country of residence. For questions or problems, email care@khayrun.app.
